Torbot Ostomy Skin Barrier Wafer, 3-3/4 in with 7/8 in Opening

The Torbot ostomy skin barrier wafer is a 3-3/4 in (9.5 cm) wafer with a 7/8 in (2.2 cm) opening for the stoma. The wafer, also called a skin barrier or baseplate, is the part of an ostomy set that sticks to the skin and protects it against irritation from stool. In a two-piece set, the pouch attaches to it.

Stool coming out of a stoma can be very irritating to the skin. The best way to protect the skin around the stoma is a bag or pouch with the correct size opening, so waste does not leak, and good care of that skin. Every wafer comes in its own wrapper. Sold as 10 wafers.
