PRODUCT DETAILS
Cardinal Health's reinforced gelling fiber dressing is a sterile, non-woven calcium and sodium alginate that turns to a gel as it absorbs wound fluid, maintaining a moist environment that supports wound healing and the formation of granulation tissue. The cohesive fiber construction is highly absorbent, and the dressing serves as a primary dressing for moderate to heavy exuding, partial- to full-thickness wounds. This 6 in x 6 in (15.2 cm x 15.2 cm) pad is latex-free and sold as one dressing.
