Cardinal Health's Advanced Wound Care composite dressing is a sterile dressing made with a soft non-woven fabric coated with hypoallergenic acrylic adhesive and an absorbent pad with a low adherent wound contact layer. It is intended for lightly exuding, superficial, non-infected wounds, including post-operative wounds, lacerations and abrasions, skin grafts and donor sites, and minor burns and scalds. The hypoallergenic acrylic adhesive holds the absorbent pad in place, while the low adherent wound contact layer rests directly against the wound bed. The composite dressing is available in five sizes.
