Assembling Your Steerable Knee Walker

1. Expand the steerable knee walker by pushing down on the folding metal frame.
2. Lock the frame securely into place by rotating the locking mechanism lever clockwise to tighten the quick release clamp, pushing the locking handle against the side of the frame.
3. Push the steering column upward until fully upright.
4. Rotate the lever clockwise to tighten the quick release clamp, pushing the locking handle against the side of the steering column to securely lock into place.
5. Remove the star screw located just below the handlebar and extend the steering column until the handlebars are at wrist level.
6. Align the holes in steering column and re-insert the star screw, tightening knob securely.
7. Remove the star screw located on the knee bench supporting column. Insert the knee bench post, positioning the knee bench to the appropriate height.
8. Align the holes and re-insert the star screw through the knee bench column, tightening knob securely.
9. Using the hex wrench (included in package), loosen the hand brake lever to reposition and/or tighten to a more comfortable position. Brake tightness can be adjusted with the nuts at either end of the brake cable. Turning the screw clockwise will loosen the brake, while turning the screw counterclockwise will tighten it.
10. Squeeze the hand brake lever and push down the parking brake lock to lock the steerable knee walker. Squeeze the hand brake lever again to release the parking brake lock.

• Do not attempt to adjust or operate your steerable knee walker without reading all instructions carefully. Failure to follow instructions may result in injury.

• Do not use on stairs or travel over drops or barriers, such as curbs or parking stops.
• Do not sit on the knee rest, walker handles, or frame at any time.
• Do not lean forward, backward, or to either side while in use and/or while applying brakes.
• Always keep both hands on the handle grips when in use.
• When turning the steerable knee walker, only turn while at a slow rate of movement.
• At regular intervals, check and tighten all fasteners and hinged parts. Frequently check all plastic parts for wear. If any component of this product is damaged or missing, discontinue use immediately. Contact Cardinal Health for repair and/or appropriate replacement parts. DO NOT use non-Cardinal Health parts.
• Use Cardinal Health accessories only. The use of other manufacturers' accessories can result in an improper fit and risk of fall and/or injury.
