Sterilization Biological Indicators
Biological indicators verify that a sterilization cycle achieved the intended lethal dose. Each one carries a standardized population of resistant bacterial spores and a medium that turns a visible color when the spores survive, so a facility can confirm its process lot by lot instead of relying on temperature and time alone. This selection covers biological indicators for steam, ethylene oxide and radiation sterilization, in the readout times, cap colors and ISO 11138 classes a facility compares when qualifying a cycle. Choose by the sterilization method, the readout time, and the standards class the indicator is validated against.
