Sage Products 2% Chlorhexidine Gluconate Cloth 7.5" x 7.5" Rinse-Free, Alcohol-Free, Absorbable, Latex-Free used for preoperative skin preparation to help address a known risk factor for surgical site infections. Prepping the skin before surgery is a critical step in preventing infection. Sage 2% Chlorhexidine Gluconate (CHG) cloths are an easy way you can take charge of your presurgical care and reduce risk of developing a surgical site infection (SSI). Sage's unique formulation is fast-acting, broad-spectrum, alcohol-free, non-abrasive, textured, 500 mg CHG (Chlorhexidine Gluconate) per cloth. It contains no alcohol or harsh detergents, eliminating flammability concerns and reducing the potential to dry out skin. Effective against a wide range of microorganisms, significantly reducing their number on intact skin, extremely persistent. Rinse-free formula demonstrates continued antimicrobial activity for up to 6 hours after application.
