Coloplast Assura ColoKids is Coloplast's pediatric ostomy line, made for children's stomas in one-piece and two-piece constructions. The one-piece pouches fit stoma openings from 10 mm (3/8 in) to 35 mm (1 3/8 in) and are transparent; the two-piece pouch is opaque, 5 3/4 in (14.6 cm) long, and couples over a green coupling to a separate barrier. From a closed pouch that comes off with its barrier to a two-piece pouch that stays separate from it, the line covers the pouch types a young patient's diversion calls for.

Choosing a Configuration
A closed pouch is removed and replaced as a unit when full or soiled. A drainable pouch is emptied through its opening and left in place between changes. A urostomy pouch is fitted for a urinary diversion. The two-piece closed pouch is used with a separate barrier — the barrier is not part of this product — so the pouch can be replaced without removing the barrier.
