Silver-Sept Antimicrobial Skin and Wound Gel from Anacapa Technologies is a clear amorphous hydrogel carrying 200 µg of total silver per gram, which forms a long-lasting antimicrobial barrier while the gel holds a moist wound environment. It absorbs minor exudate without staining or discoloring surrounding tissue, and it may remain in the wound bed for up to three days between changes. The gel is non-irritating, non-cytotoxic, and non-sensitizing, and it is not made with natural rubber latex. It is used on diabetic foot and leg ulcers, stage I through stage IV pressure ulcers, graft and donor sites, first- and second-degree burns, and partial- and full-thickness wounds. Sold as a single 1.5 oz or 3 oz tube.
