Anasept Antimicrobial Skin and Wound Gel from Anacapa Technologies is a clear, amorphous, isotonic hydrogel that maintains the moist wound environment conducive to healing, by either absorbing wound exudate or donating moisture, while delivering 0.057% modified broad-spectrum antimicrobial sodium hypochlorite. The gel inhibits the growth of microorganisms commonly found in wound beds, including Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Escherichia coli, as well as antibiotic-resistant strains such as MRSA, VRE and carbapenem-resistant E. coli (CRE), and fungi such as Aspergillus niger, Candida albicans and Candida auris. It is labeled for external use only and is not for ophthalmic use. Anasept is not made with natural rubber latex and is non-sterile.

Storage and Handling
Store at room temperature of 77°F (25°C) or lower. Do not freeze. The gel has a 2-year shelf life and remains active for 14 weeks after first use.
