Ameda Mya Joy PLUS Hospital Strength Double Breast Pump, Portable and Rechargeable

The Ameda Mya Joy PLUS is a hospital strength double electric breast pump in Ameda's Mya Joy line, small and lightweight, with a rechargeable battery and USB charging cord for pumping away from an outlet. It delivers up to 250 mmHg of suction in two pumping modes, Stimulation and Expression, and operates at less than 45 dB. The HygieniKit true closed system helps keep expressed milk from backing up into the tubing and helps prevent potential contaminants such as bacteria, viruses, and mold growth. Key Features and Benefits

• Hospital strength suction – 250 mmHg is the pump's maximum suction, reached in Expression mode: 50 to 250 mmHg when pumping double, 80 to 250 mmHg when pumping single. The lower-suction Stimulation mode runs from 40 to 100 mmHg in double pumping and 80 to 160 mmHg in single pumping.
• Two pumping modes – Stimulation mimics baby's fast suction pattern with fast speed and low suction to start milk flowing (suction levels 1–6); Expression mimics baby's slow, steady suction pattern with slower speed and higher suction to express more milk (levels 1–12). The pump starts in Stimulation mode and switches automatically to Expression mode after two minutes; press the Mode button to switch at any time.
• Rechargeable battery – Ameda's manual gives battery life on a full charge as at least 2 hours, with 120 to 150 minutes typical, while Ameda's product page lists up to 3 hours of pumping on a single charge. The built-in 1500 mAh lithium-ion battery cannot be replaced; a full charge from 0 to 100% takes at least 2.5 hours through the included USB cord and wall adapter.
• Quiet operation – less than 45 dB, for discreet pumping at home or at work.
• Backlit LCD display – timer and push-button controls.
• Single or double pumping – adaptable for one or both breasts.
