Ameda Flexishield Areola Stimulator, 21 mm, Silicone

The Ameda Flexishield Areola Stimulator is a flexible silicone insert that fits inside a breast pump's flange while you pump. It measures 21 mm and fits only the standard 25 mm breast flange, and it gives a soft feel against the skin during pumping. It compresses the breast while pumping to help trigger the milk release, or let-down, because the milk comes only when a milk release happens. It narrows the breast flange, so it works best with mothers who have smaller nipples. It is designed to work with the Ameda HygieniKit Milk Collection System, the Platinum Multi-User Hospital Breast Pump, the Ameda Elite Multi-User Breast Pump, the Ameda Mya Joy Breast Pump, the Ameda Finesse Breast Pumps and the Ameda Purely Yours Breast Pumps, and is optional with the Ameda One-Hand Breast Pump; it is not compatible with the Ameda Mya or Mya Pro Breast Pumps.
