3M Avagard Surgical and Healthcare Personnel Hand Antiseptic with Moisturizers is a brushless, waterless surgical hand scrub in a 16 oz (500 mL) wedge bottle, formulated with Chlorhexidine Gluconate 1% solution and Ethyl Alcohol 61% w/w. The alcohol kills a broad spectrum of microorganisms, including some antibiotic-resistant strains, with greater than 99% kill in 15 seconds in vitro, while the chlorhexidine continues to suppress bacterial growth for up to 6 hours. Gentle emollients in the formula help prevent dry, cracked skin and maintain the integrity of the skin's natural barrier. The product is FDA NDA approved, is latex glove and CHG compatible, and contains no parabens, oils, mineral oil, petrolatum, fragrances, or dyes.

Application
