Each cushion features a unique low profile design to provide safety and convenience for getting in and out of chairs, and the air venting holes allow heat and moisture to easily dissipate for a higher level of comfort. This cushion is recommended for use behind the head, under the elbow, between the knees and additional support for bony areas.

How to Set Up Properly

• Inflate: Insert the tip of the WAFFLE® L.A.D. Pump into the valve. Refer to the inflation chart on the side of the pump, and inflate your cushion using the recommended level of strokes.
• Check: Once the cushion appears 60% filled, assess for proper inflation. If you can smoothly roll one side of the cushion past the first set of holes, but not to the second set, your cushion is prepared for use.
• Utilize: Place the product on the seating surface, valve down, and towards the back of the surface.

Precautions

• Your waffle cushion should only look about 60% full.
• If used in a chair, position shifts should be made every 15–30 minutes or per individualized schedule
• Avoid direct contact between skin and product by using a pillowcase, sheet, or breathable under-pad
• Single patient use
