The product features matrix film construction designed to act as a barrier to aid in the prevention of strike-through, while allowing for easy monitoring of the wound. Its waterproof, transparent film also helps protect the wound from outside contaminants and skin trauma. This product is latex-free and hypoallergenic, making it suitable for all skin types.

Indications for use

Suresite Transparent Matrix Film Dressing is perfect for partial-thickness wounds, full-thickness wounds (secondary dressing), peripheral and central IV lines, skin tears, lacerations and abrasions and to help prevent skin breakdown caused by friction to the epidermis.

Contraindications

Suresite Transparent Matrix Film Dressing is not suitable as a primary dressing for wounds with moderate to heavy drainage.

Suresite Transparent Matrix Film Dressing typically lasts 3 to 7 days depending on the state of the wound or amount of drainage but should be changed once saturated with exudates.
