Ostomy Seals

An ostomy seal is a flexible ring that seats between a reusable faceplate and the pouch on a two-piece, non-adhesive system, forming the watertight joint that keeps output off the peristomal skin. Seals are matched to the opening of the faceplate rather than to the stoma itself, and are replaced periodically as the material loses its set.

This selection is organised by ring diameter and material. Silicone and rubber differ in flexibility and service life, so the choice follows from the faceplate already in use and how firm a seat it needs.
