Oral Rehydration Solution

Oral rehydration solutions are electrolyte drinks that replace the fluid and minerals lost during diarrhea and vomiting, and are used to prevent or treat mild to moderate dehydration in infants, children, and adults. The selection is divided by concentration — ready-to-use or a concentrate to be mixed — and by volume; many lines also offer a choice of flavors.
