The 3M Red Dot adult monitoring electrode is a multi-purpose ECG electrode with a foam backing and sticky gel that maintains intimate skin contact for a clean trace. Each electrode measures 4 cm x 3.5 cm (1.56 in x 1.38 in), and the smaller footprint is easier to place than a full-size electrode. The high-performance adhesive is formulated for diaphoretic skin, where it provides greater adhesion and better trace quality, and the Red Dot line is clinically tested for up to five-day wear. It is used for ECG monitoring in the ER, OR, catheter lab and ICU, wherever strong adhesion is required.
