Choose the smallest barrel that holds your largest daily dose. For U-100 insulin, one unit occupies 0.01 mL, so the 0.5 mL barrel holds doses up to 50 units and the 1 mL barrel holds doses up to 100 units.

Monoject syringes are for single use. Do not reuse a syringe, do not share it with another person, and dispose of used syringes in a sharps container.
Storage
