Accu-Chek Softclix Lancing Device, 11 Penetration Depth Settings

The Accu-Chek Softclix Lancing Device is a reusable, pen-style lancing device used with Accu-Chek Softclix lancets (sold separately) to obtain a drop of blood for blood glucose monitoring. It has 11 penetration depths from 0.5 to 5.5 mm, set with a comfort dial, and starts at depth 2 if you have no experience with the device. One-handed operation and a metal clip for convenient storage make it simple to use at home. Sold as a single lancing device.

Important limits

• For use only on a single patient. Do not use it on other people, even family members, and healthcare professionals must not use it on different patients.
• Patients younger than 18 should be supervised by an adult; ask a healthcare professional before first use on children.
• Clean and disinfect at least once per week with Super Sani-Cloth (EPA reg. no. 9480-4) only; do not use any other cleaning or disinfecting solutions.
• Prick the sides of the fingertips, the areas least sensitive to pain.
• Only insert Accu-Chek Softclix lancets into the device.
