Calcium Alginate Dressings

Calcium alginate wound dressings are hydrophilic wound coverings made from alginate, a fiber derived from seaweed. On contact with wound exudate they absorb and gel, helping to maintain a moist wound environment. The selection includes pads, ropes, sheets and other configurations in a range of sizes, in sterile single-use packaging, chosen by wound shape, size and exudate level.
